Enjoy a tour of the exhibition and find out more about the beautiful textiles on display. Afterwards join us for pot of tea and an informal embroidery session. Please bring along your own creative pieces to complete over a brew!

WHEELS TO WEMYSS

 

Hop on a bus taking you from the St Andrews Museum to the Wemyss School of Needlework, situated in the Coaltown of Wemyss. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy some of the pieces not on display in the exhibition and experience the school itself first hand. An introductory talk, as well as tea and cakes, will all be provided.

Join Louise Foster from the Wemyss School of Needlework for a fabulous beginner’s workshop to Crewelwork Embroidery. Be inspired by the textiles on display to turn your hand to this traditional technique. All materials will be provided.
